Nordic Chip Collaboration 2026

Project 2026
Nordic Forward: Resilience and competitiveness for 2050 Active

Building on successful activities in 2024 and 2025, the project brings together industry, research, investors, and public stakeholders
to position the Nordics as a competitive, sustainable, and innovationdriven semiconductor region.

Through a joint Nordic platform, the collaboration increases visibility of Nordic capabilities,
facilitates cross border partnerships, and supports business and investment opportunities across
the semiconductor value chain.
The main objectives are:

  • Strengthen the Nordic semiconductor platform through delegations and matchmaking.
  • Increase the international visibility of Nordic players, particularly in Taiwan and Europe.
  • Create concrete business and investment opportunities for Nordic companies within
  • the semiconductor value chain.

Key activities include industry webinars, physical ecosystem
meet ups, international outreach, and the development and dissemination of a shared Nordic
semiconductor value proposition.

Nordic added values

By combining strong national ecosystems with a unified Nordic approach, the Nordic Chip
Collaboration contributes to European resilience, accelerates collaboration between companies
and research environments, and supports the long term competitiveness of Nordic businesses in
a rapidly evolving global semiconductor landscape.
