In 2019, the 2-year pilot of LOOP Ventures was concluded. The pilot was a cooperation between Avanto Ventures, Sitra and Nordic Innovation. During the pilot period it was discovered that the maturity of the Nordic circular economy was still in its early stages. Companies had begun with circular activities related to recycling and were looking into new possibilities such as energy efficiency, but the concept of circular business models was still new to most companies.
The new LOOP with Nordic partners
As a result of the pilot, new Nordic partners were invited to join the team in order to scale LOOP faster, share learnings and thereby accelerate the transition to circular economy. Together the team is working on developing LOOP Labs, where the aim is to identify and develop circular business models that can be piloted together with partners.
Company cases on circular economy
One of the first activities from the new Nordic team is to host a series of webinars in May and June 2020. The webinars are open to all, you just need to register to be able to participate.
