COP31 takes place from 9 November till 20 November in Antalya, Turkey. Nordic Innovation will be present from 9 November till 14 November where we organize two events and host a daily round table session in collaboration with Nordic companies and organizations.

Looking into a future with emission-free transport

On Monday 9 November, 11.30-12.15 we kick-start our COP-days with the session Turning points to zero-emission transport.

Imagine arriving at COP45 entirely emission-free and looking back at the breakthroughs, investments, collaborations, and policy decisions that made it possible.

In this session, Nordic youth delegates challenge today's industry leaders and policymakers to explain how that future became reality. Looking back from a future perspective, they will ask: How did we get here? Which technologies succeeded? Which policy decisions unlocked progress? What innovations transformed the way people and goods move across the globe?

Join us for an interesting session. If you are lucky, you will be able to build your own fossil free airplane.

Circular solutions: from belief to bankability

Making circular cases attractive from an investment perspective is essential if we are to move from pilot projects to real industrial scale.

On Tuesday 10 November, 15.30-16.15 the session Financing the circular transition – the investment perspective will explore the investment perspective of circular economy. The question is how can circular business models become investable?

Nordic Circular Investments, an initiative supported by Nordic Innovation, has analyzed the top ten circular investment cases in the Nordic countries. What can we learn from these cases and how can these cases help us to move circularity from belief to bankability?

The session will explore circular investment and discuss what is needed to attract capital to the circular transition.

A new round table concept

‘Complete the Circle’ is concept where Nordic companies are invited to facilitate a round table session in the Nordic Pavilion. The table will be set up in the Nordic Pavilion during the lunch break, and Nordic companies are invited to facilitate their own session.
