At Nordic Innovation, you will become part of a dynamic work environment with skilled colleagues from all the Nordic countries. Nordic Innovation acts as a catalyst to make the Nordic region a leader in the green transition and to ensure Nordic competitiveness.
Working with us means collaborating across various sectors and disciplines, and you will have significant freedom and the opportunity to influence our project portfolio.
The work will involve both strategic and operational elements. Examples of tasks include designing projects, building networks, creating calls for proposals, managing evaluation processes, guiding and following up on projects. You will be in close contact with external project managers and will be responsible for communicating results both internally and externally. Clear and audience-tailored communication is essential.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who quickly adapts to new areas of work and can alternate between operational and strategic tasks while maintaining the ability to prioritize. In addition, you should be good at identifying and tackling complex issues. To succeed in this role, it is crucial to be a team player with a deliberate approach to networking.
We are seeking someone who is driven, enjoys social settings, and feels comfortable presenting in front of an audience. At Nordic Innovation, there is plenty of room for personal development, and we look forward to our new colleague contributing ideas and taking initiative and responsibility. Personal suitability will be emphasized.
You should have a higher academic background and a minimum of eight years of relevant work experience – and, most importantly, a curious mindset and a desire to work with emerging technologies and topics critical to business development on the path toward 2030 and 2050. Strong communication skills are essential, and you must be fluent in at least one Scandinavian language in addition to English. Previous experience with international project work and/or innovation work in the business sector is an advantage.
Familiarity with the Nordic countries’ innovation and funding systems is valued, and due to our current nationality distribution, particular emphasis will be placed on knowledge of and networks within the Danish, Icelandic, Finnish, and/or Swedish systems. Some travel is to be expected.

We strive for a balance in terms of age and gender. The staff at Nordic Innovation should reflect the Nordic population as much as possible, and in the selection of candidates, we will aim for a balance between the different Nordic nationalities.
