IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing a webinar on Nordic solutions for municipal solid waste (MSW), sewage and sludge treatment for India on 12 June 2020.
The webinar is free and will be held from 15:00–16:15 (IST) / 11:30-12:45 (CET).
Promoting sustainable Nordic waste treatment solutions in India
India is set to be the world's most populous country by 2030, making it home to the largest and most under-penetrated market for global manufactures and service providers. At the same time, poor sanitation is currently affecting India's economic growth, prompting the government to launch the Clean India Mission and allocate much resources to innovative and sustainable waste treatment solutions.
Nordic businesses in the waste and water sector have a leading position in the global market and India currently represents promising opportunities for them.
This webinar will bring together waste management companies, startups and researchers to share their perspectives on key impacts and learnings for waste management companies looking to do business in India.
