World Circular Economy Forum 2020 + 2021 Canada - Joint Nordic Activity

Goal of the activities at WCEFonline and WCEF2021 in Canada

Thorugh the online and physical activities the trade promotion organizations aim to:

  • Connect Nordic circular solution providers looking to export into North America with Canadian solutions seekers and relevant industry stakeholders.
  • Promote and showcase Nordic circular solutions of participating companies.
  • Increase the use of circular solutions across all industries in North America.
  • Promote resource recovery and resource value, as well as the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) related to circularity in North America.

Digital World Circular Economy Forum 2020

The Nordic trade promotion organizations in Canada will execute a digital hackathon during the WCEFonline in the fall of 2020 to supplement the official online forum. The hackathon will focus on a specific problem that requires the circular solutions and interventions of Nordic companies, the format will be online workshopping and collaboration with North American key stakeholders in the circularity industry.

World Circular Economy Forum 2021

The Nordic trade promotion organizations in Canada will run a series of activities in the fall of 2021 to supplement the official WCEF2021 in Toronto, Canada. These activities will include a business to business workshopping event with the Nordic companies and Canadian solution seekers and providers and a panel discussion on Nordic circular solutions.
