Singapore and Southeast Asia represent a key growth region where the Nordics can expand exports, promote sustainable development, and strengthen economic ties. However, due to the physical distance and limited familiarity with the market, Nordic ecosystem players may not be fully aware of the opportunities available. Therefore, it is essential to share insights into the local landscape and raise awareness of the business potential for Nordic companies in the region. Capitalizing on the profile of Slush, we’ll organize a Nordic Innovation House session to promote Singapore to the leading innovators in the Nordics.
Showcaseing the network of business opportunities
As part of setting up this project, we aim to introduce and promote a joint Nordic Innovation House session, in collaboration with Silicon Valley and Tokyo (where relevant). This initiative will showcase the network of business opportunities available to Nordic startups worldwide and highlight the interconnectedness of the Houses. To further promote the opportunities in Singapore, we will also involve key local stakeholders, such as the Economic Development Board and universities, to co-organize this session with us.
SLUSH
Based in Helsinki, Slush annually hosts the world’s leading startup event bringing together a curated crowd of European startups, world-class investors, and tech journalists.
Impact
This side-event session during Slush aims to gather 40 Nordic startup and scale up representatives and international investors.
Nordic Innovation House will be a hub to Southeast Asian markets to meet the growing interest from Nordic companies (startups and scaleups) that want to explore Singapore and the Singapore market.
