Nordic City Solutions

Project 2018 - 2019 Closed

Some of the challenges that Nordic cities face - unsustainable resource consumption, pollution, segregation, challenges for health, safety and the environment - are not unique to the region, but found all over the world.

In the Nordic region, we offer high quality urban solutions based on our Nordic strengths such as good governance, public-private partnerships, environmental and social consciousness as well as openess to test new technologies.

Nordic City Solutions is a public-private platform facilitated by the Nordic Trade Promotion Organizations in order to share specific business expertise in healthy, resilient and smart cities in three major markets around the world:

  • North America
  • China
  • India

The goal is for Nordic businesses to help cities in these export regions become more sustainable through local engagement of cities by the Nordic trade promotion organizations and Nordic companies to help solve like-minded challenges.
