We Are Looking for a Supplier for a Sustainable Ocean Economy Ecosystem and Stronghold Mapping

Nordic Innovation is supporting a new project with the aim of investigating whether co-location of floating wind power and fish farming is feasible.

As a result of the Ocean Biomass call Nordic Innovation has signed contract with Lava Seaweed as main partner to carry out the CircleFeed project. The project aims to reduce reduce the greenhouse gas emissions from dairy cattle with seaweed based feed.

We have a strong ocean economy, but the sea is not a unlimited resource. The challenge is to come up with solutions that will make the Nordic region a leader in sustainable ocean biomass industries. With our new call, we want to meet this challenge.

Through this initiative, Nordic Innovation seeks to promote sustainable growth, innovation, entrepreneurship and global competitiveness of Nordic companies in the ocean-based biomass industry. The pre-call is followed by a main call in 2023.
