"The Nordics have a solid foundation in the quantum field through world-class research, some of the leading companies and great national initiatives supporting the ecosystem. However, as small nations with limited resources, we need to deepen collaboration and find synergies to secure a frontunner position in the quantum race."

The mapping will provide an overview of the current state of the Nordic quantum ecosystem as a whole and describe the most relevant national initiatives, programs and support measures and the main actors in the five Nordic countries.

On the basis of the mapping, the project manager will identify Nordic-Baltic strongholds which should bring most synergies and opportunities for collaboration at the Nordic-Baltic level.

Based on the ecosystem mapping and identification of Nordic and Baltic barriers and strongholds, the project manager will deliver recommendations for targeted Nordic and Baltic level measures and instruments.
