Nordic Innovation has an open call for proposals specifically targeting Nordic clusters and ecosystems to help strengthen Life Science and Health Tech export towards the UK.

Through this initiative, Nordic Innovation seeks to strengthen Nordic value chains, cluster organizations and eco-systems within health technologies and medical technologies.
The project runs for two years and in addition to supporting and developing value change collaboration in the Nordic countries, the winning consortia will work with Yorkshire and Humber AHSN to annually facilitate the participation of ten Nordic companies in a training week in Leeds, UK. The purpose of the training week is to teach Nordic companies about access possibilities to bid for contracts with the NHS and to explore innovation opportunities together with companies from the UK.
The consortia will also establish a cooperation with two additional Academic Health Science Networks in the UK.
The winning consortia must consist of a minimum of three Nordic cluster organizations or eco-system organizations registered in a Nordic country within the field of health technologies or medical technologies.
Background
This project is a part of the Life Science & Health Tech program which is one of the eight initiatives launched by the five Nordic Ministers. The aim is to strengthen Nordic companies' opportunities in the field of life science and health technology to create new products and solutions for the benefit of Nordic citizens.
