A Green, Competitive and Resilient Nordic Region
The aim of the program Innovative Solutions for 2030 is to accelerate the introduction of solutions for the green transition towards 2030 and contribute to systemic change towards more sustainable and biobased economies.
The focus in this program is on reaching vision 2030 of making the Nordics the most sustainable and integrated region in the world. 2030 is just around the corner and the focus in the program is therefore on innovative solutions that can accelerate the green transition as quickly as possible.
The aim of the program Nordic Forward: Resilience and Competitiveness for 2050 is to strengthen the Nordic region’s long-term competitiveness and resilience through the application of new technologies, deep-tech and new collaboration structures.
The program will support ecosystems and value chain collaboration to solve global and Nordic societal challenges and achieve impact at a systemic level.
Nordic Innovation as your new partner
From 2021-2024, Nordic Innovation worked with the eight programs: AI and Data, Circular Business Models, Sustainable Construction, Life Science and Health Tech, Nordic Green Mobility, Smart Connectivity, Sustainable Minerals and Sustainable Ocean Economy, and with more than 600 project partners from across the Nordics.
Are you curious to know more about their experience collaborating with Nordic Innovation? We spoke with some of our partners:

Anders Tunold-Hanssen, NordDEC – Partner of Life Science and Health Tech
"Nordic Innovation plays a vital role in advancing cross-Nordic industry collaboration. With their support, N!P has been able to focus on the sharing of health data and solutions across the region resulting, among others, in NordDEC - a system for evaluating, distributing, and implementing quality-assessed health apps. Over the past two years, we have also proudly collaborated to host the Nordic Health App Award, celebrating the very best in Nordic digital health innovation."

Sean Barrett, Interesting Times Gang – Partner of Sustainable Ocean Economy
"The support we received from Nordic Innovation has been critical for the success of the Ocean Biomass project. Challenging established solutions with innovative alternatives requires significant amounts of courage, time, knowledge and investment. Nordic Innovation has contributed to all of these and more. Without their collaboration, the massive strides made in this project would not have been possible."

Virginia E. Vegas, FRONTTIER – Partner of Circular Business Models and Life Science and Health Tech
"I had the opportunity to start working with Nordic Innovation in 2020, and since then, we have run several projects in cooperation with them. For FRONTTIER, partnering with Nordic Innovation has been an instrumental experience, as it has allowed us to amplify our ideas and exponentially grow our capacity to create change across the Nordics and beyond. The world needs critical and unconventional thinking more than ever, and Nordic Innovation, in that way, acts as a platform for this type of thinking to exist and inspire others. The history of the world is made of radical ideas focused on improving people’s lives and the human condition. It is different ideas that change the world. Nordic Innovation is a catalyst for change and a key supporter of those driving it."
