Join us for an interesting discussion about tourism innovation in the Nordics!
What happens when two pioneering Nordic tourism initiatives, both dedicated to regenerative and sustainable futures, come together for a final opportunity to reflect, share, and look ahead?
As NorReg and X-Nordic Travel Contest (XNTC) reach their conclusions, this webinar brings their experiences, insights, and innovations into one conversation, exploring what it takes to create lasting change in Nordic tourism.
NorReg – Nordic Regenerative Tourism: Funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers and led by the Iceland Tourism Cluster, has developed practical, accessible tools to help small and micro-sized tourism operators embrace regenerative tourism practices. Lena Friblick, founder of Botildenborg, will share her experiences from the programme and discuss her collaboration with Visit Skåne to include social values in creating a destination for everyone.
XNTC – X-Nordic Travel Contest: Funded by Nordic Innovation and the Nordic Council of Ministers and led by Group NAO, has brought together startups and industry players to address pressing challenges for a sustainable and competitive Nordic tourism sector. Vicente Carro and Lijing Zhou, founders of Snotra Sustainability, will share their journey through XNTC, including their winning hackathon idea - an AI-powered solution designed to simplify sustainability compliance for tourism businesses.
This webinar will feature key insights and cases from both programs, and a forward-looking discussion on how to sustain innovation and create real impact in Nordic tourism. We will conclude with a preview of the NorReg toolkit and XNTC guidebook.
