Join us when we turn the spotlight on the Nordics' position within the circular transition with the session:

The Nordic Region - Leading the Circular Change or Lagging Behind?

Where: Main stage, Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 København SV
When: 25 April, 14.00-15.00

Nordic countries often lead global rankings in happiness, efficiency, economic resilience, and innovation. In this session, we will discuss how the Nordic countries are progressing in transitioning to a circular economy.

According to recently published Circularity Gap Reports covering most of the Nordic countries, they are slowly shifting away from linear economic thinking and production towards circular business models. However, Nordic countries do not appear to be leading the global transition from a linear economy to circular economic societies.

Given the 2030 CO2 emission targets, political ambitions, and corporate visions to become the world’s leading region in sustainability, why are Nordic countries not moving faster towards a circular economy and sustainable societies?
