After a long circle around the world, the World Circular Economy Forum WCEF returns to the Nordics. The event, originating from Finland, will gather some of the leading circular economy players in the world to Helsinki.
In 2023, the forum is co-organised by the Finnish Innovation Fund, Sitra, and Nordic Innovation, two key players driving a transition to a circular economy in the Nordic countries and globally. The two organisations share the goal to make Finland and the Nordic countries forerunners in sustainable well-being. The event will be organised from 30 May to 2 June, in Helsinki.
Throughout two days of program, and two days of accelerator sessions we will be zooming in e.g., on finance, food, forestry, future skills, metrics, mining and energy, regenerative growth as well as road maps, trade and value chains, engaging the voices of young generations to top level discussion. All while focusing on circular solutions for nature and the economy.
Physical attendance at WCEF2023 will be by invite only, but the whole program will be live stream and available for anyone wanting to watch. Companies and organizations large and small are also encuraged to apply for a spot at the WCEF2023 Expo Area. All partners are also encouraged to host Accelerator Sessions on the 1-2 June to continue the discussions and momentum from the forum.
