Speeding up the maritime green energy transition
The maritime energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy is in progress and the low hanging fruit is the use of electricity in port for auxiliary power and battery charging.
At the workshop we will hear about the status for the use of on shore power supply, international standardization, technical challenges and we will meet suppliers of solutions.
The workshop is hosted by the Norwegian shore connection forum which is facilitated by NEK and the MAREN project. The MAREN project is founded by Nordic Innovation as a part of the Nordic Smar Mobility and Connectivity program with the aim to speed up the transition from conventional to green energy sources within maritime energy.
