The Sápmi Business Conference is an arena for entrepreneurship and innovation in the heart of the Arctic tundra – in Kautokeino. The vision of the conference is to create an attractive arena for Sámi entrepreneurs, business actors and organizations to connect the Nordic region and elevate the innovative force in the whole of Sápmi.
The Sámi people, who live across four borders, have been especially been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Sápmi Business Conference is an effort offer inspiration and motivation to restart business in the region – from a sustainable perspective.

The conference is part of the Sápmi Business Week, which aims to create an arena for Sami business development, strengthen innovation and create a more robust economy in Sápmi. The conference will feature high-level people and entrepreneurs from Sápmi and the Nordic region. The Sápmi Business Week also includes the Sápmi Business Hackathon, which is also co-funded by Nordic Innovation.
