The 4-day program includes a visit to BioJapan, the largest Bio and Health focused event in Asia, and access to Nordic support systems.
Why Tokyo?
The Nordic brand is trending in Japan, and Nordic products are generally perceived as cutting edge and high quality. This is reflected in a growing Japanese interest in the Nordic tech ecosystem, including a marked increase in Japanese VC investments into the Nordics.
Why Healthtech?
Many Japanese are impressed by the Nordic healthcare systems, and their ability to provide efficient, high-quality, healthcare to the wider population. Also, the Nordics and Japan have much in common, and face many of the same challenges: Both regions are relatively affluent, and technologically advanced, both face an aging population and a dwindling workforce, creating an urgent demand for the very healthcare solutions in which the Nordics excel.
