Nordic Scale Up Awards

Nordic Scaleup Awards is the first and only Nordic award dedicated to scaleups. It is also one-of-a-kind award with a regional focus covering the five Nordic countries. Entry is open to all Nordic scaleup companies who fulfil the eligibility criteria and who can demonstrate best-of-class business performance. However, a modern Nordic scaleup company concentrates on more than just growth at any cost. As a scaleup, you also emphasize sustainability, diverse and inclusive company culture and transition to a greener economy.

The Nordic Scaleup Awards is free of charge to enter.

By nominating your company you can receive high-level visibility and exposure in the Nordics. The Awards ceremony will take place after the Nordic Scaleup Summit 1 June at Clarion Hotel Stockholm.

Eligibility criteria

  • Company is registered in one of the Nordic countries
  • Annual revenue at minimum of 2M€
  • Personnel of at least 10 people
  • Annual growth figures of at least 20% in the past 3 years

The Nordic Scaleup of the Year will be selected by a Nordic jury consisting of four seasoned entrepreneurs and investors: 

  • Lena Apler: Founder and Chairman of the Board Collector AB from Sweden 
  • Anne-Louise Thon-Jensen: Partner and Founder of SDG Invest and Vår Ventures from Denmark 
  • Javad Mushtaq: Impact Leader, Serial Social Entrepreneur and Early-Stage Investor from Norway
  • Mika Anttonen: Founder and President of the Board of St1 from Finland

Nordic Scaleup Summit

Nordic Scale Up Awards is a part of the Nordic Scale Up Summit which is an event for showcasing Nordic success stories. The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of scaleups and find recipes for successfully scaling a business globally.

The Nordic Scaleup Summit and Scaleup Awards is held in collaboration with Dagens Industri.
