Arab Health 2018 will be held in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 29 January to 1 February, and this year’s edition will see a strong Nordic presence.
Four Nordic countries will have pavilions at the conference, where Nordic companies will showcase their cutting-edge healthcare solutions and technologies. The country pavilions are facilitated by Business Finland, Business Sweden, Danish Health Tech Group and Global Pharma Consulting.
To kick off the conference, the organisations will host a Nordic business partnering and networking reception, funded by Nordic Innovation as part of the Nordic Welfare Solutions program on Monday 29 January 2018. 75 Nordic companies will participate in the networking reception where they can meet stakeholders from the MENA region and pitch their solutions.
“We believe the Nordic countries can offer innovative solutions to our common global healthcare challenges, and by joining forces on a Nordic level at Arab Health, we can combine our respective strengths and showcase a critical mass of companies that are ready to export those solutions,” says Senior Innovation Adviser at Nordic Innovation, Ms. Mona Truelsen.
Finland’s Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Ms. Pirkko Mattila; Denmark’s Ambassador in UAE, HE Merete Juhl; Deputy Director-General Swedish Ministry of Health, Mr Niclas Jacobsson; and Sweden’s ambassador in UAE, HE Henrik Landerholm, will open the reception together with Mona Truelsen from Nordic Innovation.
Senior Innovation Advisers Truelsen and Marthe Haugland from Nordic Innovation will both participate at Arab Health 2018. You are welcome to reach out to them for a coffee and a chat!
