Registration is now open for Circular City Week in New York 2 - 8 May. |
Circular City Week is an open collaborative festival for circular economy related events. For the fourth time, Circular City Week will take place in New York. Activities during Circular City Week emphasize how circular practices such as reuse, recycling, and upcycling are transforming urban industries and the city as a whole.
Circular City Week is the largest circular economy event in the US engaging New Yorkers and beyond in a multi stakeholder dialogue spurring action towards a circular economy. The week is meant to inspire and raise awareness to current best practices and initiatives across sectors and industries. By showcasing how circular approaches can influence city life and change urban industries, Circular City Week is a vehicle for lasting and meaningful change.
Nordic Circular Space
At the Circular City week, a common Nordic area will be made for exhibitions, presentations, networking and match-making events. This gives the opportunity for all participating Nordic countries to be represented and use the area.
Nordic Innovation is premium partner at the Circular City Week in New York. The project is part of the Circular Business Models program which is one of the eight initiatives launched by the five Nordic ministers of trade and industry. The initiatives represent a determined advance towards a stronger and more sustainable Nordic region and support the vision for the Nordic region to be the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030. They are also important steps in the quest to make Nordic business and industry green, circular, and carbon-neutral in line with the vision.
The aim of the Circular Business Model program is to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in the Nordics and to develop the Nordics further as agile frontrunners within circular economy and circular business models.
