The hackathon is now over. Congratulations to the Icelandic two-man team nidurtroppun.is, consisting of soon-to-be doctors Kjartan and Árni who won the Grand Prize of €10.000. Their solution helps analgesics make persionalized tapering plans for patients.

Do you want to be part of creating the Nordics into the most sustainable and integrated health region in the world, providing the best possible personalised health care for all its citizens? Join our health data hackathon in Reykjavik to find solutions together with innovative and creative people.

Hackathons are built for fast prototyping and innovation. Hackathons are an innovative proving ground for new ideas. They foster problem-solving and risk-taking in a different and casual environment, far away from the ordinary desk-job. Through a hackathon we can get a multitude of perspectives. The limited time for hackathons creates a productive atmosphere that forces participants to distil their visionary concepts down to concrete solutions. All this increases the chance of finding innovative solutions.

The aim of the hackathon is to improve health and quality of life for Nordic citizens by creating a healthy supportive environment based on innovative patient-facing digital solutions.

Are you a developer, designer, marketer, or working with business models or simply just interested in being part of a team that creates groundbreaking solutions by using health data? Then join us!

The hackathon is run by Dattacalabs and is a part of our Health, Demography and Quality of Life program.
