In 2011 we have worked proactively to facilitate innovation, cooperation, and initiatives and sharing competence in and between the Nordic countries, as well as interacting on the international arena.
  • 25.2.2004Monitoring corrosion in district heating systems

    Corrosion problems in district heating systems in the Nordic countries are rare. Nonetheless, corrosion is occasionally still responsible for leak problems and an important factor for process control and asset management. Thus, corrosion should be monitored as other important process parameters such as pH, conductivity and dissolved oxygen.
  • 25.2.2004Nordic Biofibre network established

    The Nordic Biofibre Network - Biofibre.net has so far created much better cooperation between Nordic industrial and academy actors in several bio-fibre branches. That is especially true for branches like pulp and paper and packaging. Representatives of these branches have been very active in the network. There are indications and the potential is large, that the network in the future may contribute very much to an improvement of the international business climate for small and semi-large Nordic companies.
  • 25.2.2004Prototyping and low volume production of sheet metal components

    The project aimed to clarify the situation of sheet metal forming technologies for low volume production in the Nordic countries and EU and map the industrial demands on the field.

    Improved Usage of High Strength Steel by an Effective FE-based Design Methodology for Fatigue Loaded Complex Welded Structures The main goal of the projects is to improve the reliability and consistency and reduce the time and effort required to design complex welded structures that are subject to alternating loads. This has been achieved by developing and verifying integrated FEA and appropriate fatigue resistance data including weld quality.

    Begrebet renere teknologi anvendes om tiltag, der minimerer ressourceforbruget, forebygger emissioner samt dannelse af affald ved kilden frem for at anvende egentlige renseforanstaltninger. Renere teknologi dækker imidlertid også over renseforanstaltninger.

    The main task of this pre-project was to prepare and carry out Nordic Health Technology Seminar in cooperation with Nordic Industrial Fund to get an overview on State of Art in the field, indentify and analyse the needs of SMEs, define goals, projects and ideas for cooperation and deside on creation of Nordic Health Technology Forum.

    Rapporten ”Over grænsen efter konkurrenceevne” afdækker barrierer i erhvervslovgivningen for fusioner af virksomheder på tværs af Norden. Manglen på harmonisering af lovgivning mellom de nordiske land kan gå ud over konkurrenceevnen, og samtidig indebærer det ekstraomkostninger for nordiske virksomheder.

    The main goal of the project was to establish a long-term working model and project concept for a sustainable arctic tourism development. In order to reach this goal, the current practises of Northern tourism enterprises and their needs – current as well as future - were analysed and compiled. Special emphasis was placed on identifying successful tools and practices to improve the SMEs sustainability.

    Med stigende satsning på udvikling af indformations- og kommunikationsteknologier tales om at betydningen af afstandsfaktoren ændres, og dermed at yderområders indplacering i arbejdsdelingen - og dermed i udviklingsprocessen - ændres. Hvis det er tilfældet er det nyttigt at vide mere om hvilket potentiale for erhvervs og egnsudvikling i yderområderne etablering af bredbåndsforbindelser rummer, og hvordan dette potentiale kan realiseres.

By an electronic marketplace, we mean a web site with trading functions for several buying and selling companies where the provider of the web site has no control over the prices of the products.
