The purpose of the workshop is to identify some effective and relevant innovation indicators that Nordic public innovation programs can apply in order to improve the performance of selected programs.
The core issue is whether we now to a larger extent should turn our attention towards performance and profit driven indicators (back to hard core business performance). By looking at the principles and practices applied by professional industrial players and investors, public sector program managers can learn a lot. A new study on Key Innovation Indicators looks at what we can learn from such innovation players and provides concrete suggestions for important indicators.
