Nordic Climate Friendly Buildings

  • Published 18/03/2011
The Nordic innovation programme on climate friendly buildings is being established, and the first out of four years will be invested in building a strong and integrated Nordic collaboration between national programmes and initiatives.

The Nordic programme is to build upon ongoing national activities, and reflect mutual interests and ambitions.

In the process of building the collaboration foundation, five Nordic dialogue meetings will be held; one in each country. The meetings will mark the starting point of building the Nordic programme, and play an important role to create a national foundation of the Nordic programme. Competent stakeholders from a wide range (businesses, industry, researchers/academia, NGOs, governmental organizations etc.) will be invited to share their knowledge and viewpoints. This input will be used as a base for the development of the programme.

The meeting’s discussions will evolve around questions like:

  • Which topics are relevant to lift on a Nordic level?
  • Where will we be able to create Nordic synergy?
  • How can the Nordic region strengthen its strongholds within low energy and climate friendly buildings?

The meetings will be held in May/June 2011.
