Programme

The main purpose of the event is to continue discussions on European policy for the period of 2014/2020. It’s important for the members of the Initiative to influence the EU policy so that instruments are effective and in tune with market needs.

The report “Nordic-European Public Investor Initiative – Experience sharing & Joint advice on EU policy” will be published during the day. The joint report includes both a section on the joint advice for EU policy as well as an overview and reflections on the models for investing used in different European countries.

The Workshop is a part of the Nordic-European Public Investor Initiative, a broad effort aimed at increasing the effect of public investing in venture capital by an increased level of interaction and cooperation between leading Nordic and other European public direct investors. The Workshop is a closed event for invited participants only, providing for focused discussions in a smaller group.

The Initiative gathers the unique group of eleven leading Nordic and other European direct public investors from eight countries as well the European Investment Fund. Together the group has vast experience from the European markets as well as deep insights into the function of existing EU programmes and initiatives.

We look forward to stimulating discussions on how to develop public investing in Europe going forward.

Welcome to Stockholm!
